CUNY School Of Medicine Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program

Description: Our mission is to empower students to see themselves as exceptional, equipped, and highly capable while creating opportunities for medical students to serve as leaders in their community.  HPREP provides high school students with the opportunity to explore various healthcare professions. The mission of the HPREP focuses on exposing underrepresented students from underserved communities to a variety of different professions in healthcare.

Schedule:

• Seminars, guest lectures, interactive workshops, and mentoring led by medical students and faculty, held at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the CUNY School of Medicine

Eligibility:

• Motivated high school students (10th through 12th grade)
