Lamber Goodnow Scholarships

Lamber Goodnow Injury Lawyers offers several $1,000 essay scholarships to students nationwide. Winners are chosen by lottery, and finalists’ essays may be posted on the firm’s website and social media.

Scholarships (each requires a 500–750 word essay and a minimum 3.5 GPA):

• College Scholarship (two $1,000 awards): for students enrolled in an accredited high school or college. Essay: How are you driven to innovate or affect positive change? Due December 1.
• Nursing Scholarship ($1,000): for students enrolled in or applying to a nursing program. Essay: Why do you want to pursue a nursing degree and enter the profession? Due December 1.
• PT/OT Scholarship ($1,000): for students enrolled in or applying to a physical or occupational therapy program. Essay: Why are you passionate about health care and what drives your career as a therapist? Due December 1.
• Law School and Medical School Scholarships ($1,000 each): for students enrolled in or applying to law school or medical school. Due December 1.
• Summer College Scholarship ($1,000): for undergraduate students, with the same requirements as the College Scholarship. Due July 31.

Eligibility:

• Minimum 3.5 GPA
• High school students can apply for the College Scholarship, and seniors applying to nursing or PT/OT programs can apply for those scholarships

How to apply: choose the scholarship and submit your essay (as a PDF) through the online essay form. Deadlines are December 1 each year (July 31 for the summer scholarship).
