Museum of the Moving Image Teen Council
Teen Council is a paid job development program for NYC teens interested in the media arts who want a behind-the-scenes look at how a media museum works. As part of the Teen Digital Media Innovators program, Council members curate and program public events for youth, including film festivals and media workshops, and take a leadership role in the Teen Film Festival. Members get mentorship from museum media educators, filmmakers, actors, and programmers, plus hands-on experience in curating, public programming, and project management.
